Austin Gun Club is a private hunting preserve on a 1000 acre ranch in the Texas Hill Country. Quail, Pheasant, and Chukar are released throughout the season on managed fields which are set aside for hunting and dog training. Members have the privilege of choosing between guided or unguided hunts as well as dog training opportunities.
In addition to our preserve in Central Texas, we also offer pheasant hunting at our Kansas location. As outfitters, we will help you book the hunting adventure of your dreams with one of our many trusted colleagues from across the country or around the globe.
European Pheasant Shoots are offered for parties of 10 to 20 shooters. This shoot is a fast-paced, fun-filled event which is designed to simulate the driven pheasant shoots held in Europe. The European Pheasant Shoot is a great corporate or fundraising event.
All guided hunts include an experienced dog handler, well trained dogs, warm up shooting, bird processing and a home-style meal. Shells, hunting supplies and licenses can be purchased from the Austin Gun Club ProShop.
Reservations are required with a minimum of 48 hours notice for all field hunts. European Pheasant Shoots require a one month notice. Hunts are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis with a 50% deposit due upon making your reservation.
Your safety is important to us. We require that all hunters wear hunter orange caps and vests and complete a brief safety course given by a club employee.
Note: Advance notice is required for all activities. Course & Hunting Fees do not include hunting licenses, shells, or gratuity. Additional charges may apply based on client needs. Prices are subject to change without notice due to inflation or rising costs of targets, birds, or equipment. Sales tax is not included in price unless otherwise noted.
